ABOUT

This simple, "seamless" pillow is a fantastic gift for any little and is the perfect addition to any bedroom or reading nook! Babies and "big" kids alike will find the shape interesting and adore how soft it is.

It's worked in joined rounds from the center out and can easily be made smaller or larger!

TIP: Make 1 pillow per kid. I didn't and we now have to remember who's turn it is each night 😅

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Guys, this adorable, little pillow was not always so...well... adorable. There was a LOT of trial and error. I mean, just take a look at this attempt. (And feel free to laugh. I know I did!)

Absolutely hideous, right?! It looked like a really ugly, awkward, grey Patrick Star.

And although this fail was quite humorous, it was also REALLY not. In all honesty, I was freaking out! This project was a collaboration with Lion Brand Yarn. Like, I couldn't give them this?! They would NEVER work with me again.

So, what did I do? I showed my other half, Kyle, and reached out to my Insta friend, Sandra (@nomadstitches). And after MUCH laughter, they each gave great advice. 5 amputations later... voila! An adorable star was born!

1. Star is worked in the round, from the center out

4. Exact gauge is not important for this project. Work tightly so that stuffing does not through spaces between stitches.
