The Snowcap Cardigan is bound to be your go-to layer for those bitter cold days!
This blanket with sleeves wraps you in warmth from your neck all the way to your knees. It features classic ribbed edging, beautiful texture, and oversized, inset pockets, giving it an all-around sleek and modern look.
It's made with bulky weight yarn (allowing it to work up fairly quickly for its size) and is filled with beginner stitches. Plus, it's worked from the top-down making it easy to adjust the length to fit YOUR body and style.
As usual, the pattern includes easy to follow instructions with color coded sizes, example photos, and helpful video tutorials!
SIZES: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
HOOKS:
YARN: Approx. 1270 (1135, 1185, 1310, 1520) (1680,1880, 2160, 2245) yards of Woolpower Big by Hobbii (This yarn is listed as bulky weight (5), but I personally think it's closer to super bulky (6). If you go with a bulky weight substitute, you will most likely need more yardage. A couple substitutions that the testers used were Hue and Me by Lion Brand Yarn and Paint Box Yarns Simply Chunky.)
NOTIONS: tape measure, threading needle, stitch markers, scissors
OPTIONAL: toggle buttons (I personally ordered these and plan to add 3 to the top portion of my cardigan but I also think these would look great, too!)
