ABOUT
The Everdeen Vest is a cozy, Tunisian crochet garment that features classic ribbing, modern textures, and soft, rounded edges. This unique, sleeveless top is professional and modest enough to be worn at work, comfy enough for family snuggles on the couch, and cute enough for date night out!
The pattern offers flattering hip and upper body shaping, so it'll fit every inch of you perfectly, and it's easy to create since it's entirely made up of beginner stitches. Plus, since the bottom portion is made from the top-down, the length is easily adjustable! And if you're not into side-slits, no problem! There are additional instructions to make it a closed sided dress.
DIFFICUTLY
This garment might be rated easy/intermediate, but that doesn't mean a beginner can't make it! (A few of the women that tested the pattern were actually brand new to Tunisian crochet.) I made sure to include helpful diagrams and example photos so there's no confusion.
CONSTRUCTION
The Everdeen Vest is worked flat in 2 separate panels. You'll first work the top half from the bottom-up first. Then, you'll work the bottom section from the top-down. Lastly, you'll add crochet edging.
