ABOUT

The Bobblicious Sweater is a unique, cozy garment designed to bring joy and a whole lot of warmth. It features extra-long ribbing on the sleeves, a classic crew neckline, and (of course) a whole lot of bobble stitches. Plus, it's designed in a way to look seamless (even though it's worked up in 4 separate panels.)

As always, the pattern includes easy to follow instructions with color coded sizes (XS-3X), as well as helpful diagrams so there's no confusion!

SIZES & MEASUREMENTS

XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X)

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Honestly, this sweater was not planned. Like... at all! It simply came to life because I learned how to work the bobble stitch and thought "Well, that'd make a cool sweater!" I didn't draw anything or think about it much. I just made a swatch, measured myself, and voila!

PIN IT NOW. MAKE IT LATER!

CONSTRUCTION

This crochet garment is worked from the bottom-up, back and forth in rows. It's made up of 4 separate panels and has set-in sleeves.

You'll start by crocheting the front panel ribbing. You'll then work across the side of the ribbing and crochet the body section. After that, you'll finish off and attach a new strand of yarn to shape the armholes, as well as add a few decrease rows to shape the neckline. You'll then do nearly the same thing for the back panel!

Next, you'll make both sleeves which start with ribbing, too. After working across the ribbing, you'll add 1 easy increase row and then it's smooth sailing form there! You'll simply repeat 4 rows until desired sleeve length!

To finish, you'll seam each panel together! (The pdf offers detailed instructions and diagrams for this step!)

TESTERS

These ladies worked so hard to make this garment just right. They dedicated so much of their time and yarn to this design and, for that, I'm truly grateful! Click here to check each of them out on Instagram!
